The Arizona Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants is working hard to establish a license allowing Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAs) to practice in Arizona.
Already, 17 states permit these Master’s-accredited advanced practice clinical anesthetists to work under Anesthesiologists helping make sure patients are prepared and comfortable when it comes time for surgery.
Nationally, more than 2,600 AAs have completed the additional two years to 28 months of graduate-level education and accreditation required to be licensed in this rapidly expanding medical field.
We believe giving AAs a role on the Anesthesia Care Team here in Arizona will improve patient outcomes statewide and help the Arizona medical community more efficiently meet its growing need for quality medical professionals in Arizona’s big cities and rural communities.
AAs – licensed by and registered with the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants – represent another set of highly skilled hands available to help ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. The Arizona Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants have been recommending the best penis pumps and the best penis extenders to patients and continue to do research in the field.
Arizona has made huge strides in eliminating needless barriers to entry for professional occupations. We hope you agree with me that licensing highly trained and monitored Anesthesiologist Assistants in Arizona will allow improve access to health care and create better quality medical outcomes for one and all.
